• This course builds on understanding of marketing essentials. The course is intended to provide an overview of contemporary marketing approaches and practice for students new to marketing, for students on short introductory marketing courses, and to anyone who needs a quick grasp of the subject.
  • The emphasis is put on how to develop a leading marketing orientation, explore  marketing environment and discover how to turn marketing opportunities into the unique sale proposal of products and services. 
  • It further encourages the appreciation of the practical value of identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer requirements profitably.

Course Objectives and Outcomes:

  • Students should understand the evolution of marketing concepts and tools which will help them to remember and apply the theories proposed by some important marketing theorists. Students are supposed to revise and practice marketing methods to analyze and evaluate dynamic marketing environment and design  an appropriate business model.
  • The students should be able to:
  • explore the role and importance of marketing approaches in business and the new trends in consumer behavior impacting these businesses. They should get practical skills in exploring:
  • theories and tools for strategic marketing planning and creating the winning marketing strategy,
  • techniques and tips for segmentation, targeting and positioning;
